What is this book about?

Murder on the daily double. When a hot tip on a horse led to a cold marble slab, Mike Shayne decided to take part of the action. And from the looks of the well-stacked fillies in the race, he was going to wind up with much more than his share. The pace is fast and furious when Mike Shayne bets his life at the race track and the odds turn out to be murder!
