What is this book about?

As a little girl, Tracy Quin had played in the wonderful great halls and gardens of her father's ancestral home, China Court. The war killed her father, and Tracy grew up with her beautiful actress mother in the most glamorous cities of three continents. In Rome, Tracy got the letter calling her back to China Court. Her grandmother was dead and the estate was hers. But the wolves were gathering. Tracy had only one ally--a red-haired young stranger who owned nothing but his good name, the clothes he stood up in, and his love for her.
