What is this book about?

It was hard for Lynn Hopewell to realize that she was in New York at last, struggling to become a photographer's model. It meant more work than she had ever imagined, but it was worth it. As modeling jobs started to trickle in, she began to enjoy a social life. That was when she realized there was a blind spot in her rose-colored glasses, for she had fallen in love with lanky Dixon Wells, a redheaded newspaperman who seemed to be the private property of beautiful and haughty Serena Ashley, who was determined to shatter Lynn’s career.
